In 2009, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Illustrative, Berlin, a prestigious organization renowned for celebrating art and design. Together, we created the official art poster illustrations for Alfa Romeo, commemorating the brand’s monumental 100th anniversary. This project was a true labor of love, born from a shared commitment to crafting a visual masterpiece that would honor the legacy of this iconic automobile manufacturer.
Our mission was to capture the essence of Alfa Romeo’s storied history and remarkable achievements. To prepare, I conducted in-depth interviews with local Alfa Romeo dealers, gaining firsthand insights into the brand’s legacy. Research played a pivotal role in my creative process; I delved into historical archives, collecting images from local libraries and online resources. My focus was on accurately depicting Alfa Romeo’s historic moments, including thrilling Grand Prix victories and portraits of legendary racing drivers.
Images 34, London (2010) Shortlisted: The resulting illustrations embodied the passion, elegance, and heritage that define Alfa Romeo. In 2010, these works were showcased in major European cities, celebrating the artistry and history of this iconic brand. Notably, the illustrations were exhibited at Images 34 in London, where the project was shortlisted, marking a proud moment in my artistic journey.
