Horse illustration is my lifework.

I love to do a simple line drawing of horses in black & white.

I was fascinated with drawing horses since I was a child. Sadly I grew up in Tokyo, Japan, I didn’t have much opportunity to draw them. However I often visited sculpture galleries in Tokyo, and studied horses’ body structure there. When I moved to Europe in my late 20’s, I finally had many opportunities to meet horses and started sketching them.

Later on, one of the art director who was managing the branding designs for Cazenove Capital Management in London, he found my horse illustrations and I finally had a chance to show my horse illustrations to public. Since then I’ve been drawing horses for a wide range of clients, from horse (stables) clubs to the major design agency in London to create a wine and spirit bottle label designs.
