Jazz illustrations
Passion of jazz illustrations
For over a decade, I’ve been creating blues and jazz illustrations. Combining personal live sketches with professional commissions. My work captures the essence of jazz, whether in the spontaneity of a quick sketch or the detail of a commissioned piece.
I love sketching at local jazz clubs or festivals, where the vibrant energy and live performances inspire me. These moments allow me to practice minimalistic line work, a style that reflects both the rhythm and emotion of the music.
Some of my most notable projects include CD album covers. For Peter Campbell’s Loving You: Celebrating Shirley Horn and Resonance Records’ Wes Montgomery: In The Beginning. And in 2011, I had the honor of contributing poster art to Southern Comfort’s official Mardi Gras campaign. Blending my passion for music and illustration.
My jazz drawings had jazz industry professionals attention. Therefore I frequently collaborate with private clients, including recording studios looking to decorate their spaces with drawings of jazz legends. It’s a joy to see my art become part of the creative environments where music thrives.
